PICTURE BOOK Writing & Illustration
I have several dummies on submission as an aspiring author-illustrator. The stories I am drawn to creating are often tender and quietly heartfelt. Illustration-wise, I work primarily in the digital medium.
I am represented professionally in the children’s book world by agent Linda Pratt of Wernick & Pratt. Here is my profile page on the agency website.
In addition to helping to organize illustrator Pat Cummings’ Children’s Book Bootcamp (CBBC) annual intensive, I have also been a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) since 2022.
In 2026, I received the Liz Goulet Dubois Scholarship for Picture Book Creators from Boyds Mills (formerly Highlights Foundation) to attend a workshop on campus.
I was also recently the recipient of the Vivian Grey Scholarship to attend the One-on-One Plus conference held by the Rutgers University Council on Children’s Literature (RUCCL).
